Wow what can we say?! We are sat here after what can only be described as a magical year and what a way to shine into 2016! We are thrilled to tell you that we have won the National Finals of The Wedding Industry Awards. Words cant express our gratitude, love and thanks to everyone that has made this happen. We especially need to thank all our Brides who voted for us, taking the time out of your life to put us in this position and mostly for the incredibly kind words you have said about us. On our journey back from London we clung to our phones reading all your comments, it brought back all the memories we shared with you and you made us cry tears of joy. Thank you, we love you all!
So this was some event!!! TWIA’s are the only client-voted regional and national awards in the wedding industry with a Judging Panel who are the creme de la creme in the wedding world. The wonderfully talented couple Damian & Anna Bailey started the awards to recognize wedding suppliers all over the UK who excel in their field and give their heart and soul to their brides & grooms on their big day. The Wedding Industry Awards National finals were indeed spectacular in every fashion held at Cafe de Paris in Leicester Square.
We tried to catch Leonardo DiCaprio & Tom Hardy at the premier next door for The Revenant but we had our own red carpet event to attend! The evening started with hair and makeup preparations in the lavish Private Members Club and hotel The Library. Once we were ready in our gowns and sparkly heels it was on to the main event. We felt so blessed to get this far and had such a special evening meeting some incredible wedding dress designers, venue coordinators, florists, cake makers, stationers, wedding planners, photographers, caterers, entertainers, wedding car experts and wedding stylists. Whilst sipping bubbles we nervously awaited the judges verdict with our husbands there for support. Words can’t describe our emotions, elation and joy when we heard ‘and the winner is…..ID Makeup, Hair, Beauty’ these pictures say it all. Winning this award will ensure we can connect with more women all over the world and make them see their true beauty. Being awarded The Best Wedding Makeup Artists in England is just a dream come true. We love doing what we do, making you feel amazing and who knows where 2016 will take us?!
