We were so excited to do Jo’s hair and makeup at Southend Barns as she just gave off an air of joy from the moment she stepped into ID. Her Maggie Sottero dress was so delicate so we went for a hair style that was just as intricate but showed off the lace and beading of the low back detail. We made Jo’s natural beauty shine with a radiant complexion and emphasis of her sparkling eyes.  Kelly Hearn perfectly captured this summers day at Southend Barns and from looking back at these pictures you can see that it was a fun filled day to remember for Mr & Mrs Blount. To the amazing ladies at Make Up ID,

I just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for your amazing work on our wedding day! Lauren and Amy were incredible I have never felt so relaxed when getting ready (not what you would think a bride would say ever). The make up for the bridesmaids and my mum was absolutely perfect, Amy you were great taking time to understand each person their style and making sure they felt relaxed, never rushing ensuring every inch of their make up was perfect. Each of the girls said how great you were and we thank you so so much!

Lauren, what can I say, I have never had so many people comment on my hair and make up, even my new husband (who in 5 years has probably never mentioned my hair) did not stop talking about it and on honeymoon he mentioned to every couple…’Jo’s hair was amazing I couldn’t believe it’. I can not thank you enough I felt so happy and confident in your hands. I also wanted to add how great you were right from the start you put the time in to create the look with me and then make me feel like I had known you for years so I could really relax and trust you. Nothing is too much for you ladies…the time and effort you put in is amazing and creates the perfect look every time!!

I have been singing your praises to all our friends and family but please do not hesitate to let me know anything else I can do to promote you ladies. I will also be sure to send you pictures from Kelly when we have them as she has taken some amazing ones of Lauren’s incredible master piece (my amazing hair).

Katie & Kirk’s wedding dazzled at Southend Barns on a day filled with sunshine and a Suzanne Harward dress to capture the sparkle. At Katies family home we had the pleasure of making up the ladies in Katie’s life on the morning of her special day with Bev Downie capturing every special moment on camera.  Katie’s look was perfectly elegant with bridal makeup to frame her stunningly beautiful eyes, her sisters and Mum wore shades of soft oyster in the Kevyn Aucoin makeup range. Lauren & Joe’s wedding was a magical day for us at ID being a team wedding in the stunning South African vineyard. Lauren’s inspiration came from nature, bohemian parties and rustic living which perfectly suited the outdoor setting  for their big day. Lucy created her sisters bridal look enhancing her eyes with Shu Uemura lashes and weaving her curly hair into a ethereal creation. It all seemed like a fairytale being away from the UK getting ready at Allee Bleue vineyard cottage with our friends and family. Lauren & Joe sung their vows and being musicians had their favourite songs made into a mix CD for the holiday soundtrack for their guests. The venue was in Paarl at Mountain Shadows and photographed by the incredibly talented Wrensch Lombard.

ID Makeup, Hair & Beauty Lounge was pampering paradise on the morning of Jenny and Shaun’s wedding as we created her bridesmaids hair and Jenny’s bridal makeup. Jenny’s wedding makeup was dewy and luminous for her radiant complexion using Kevyn Aucoin blush and neutral pinks. Her bridesmaids half up half down curled styles embraced the vintage chic feel of her gorgeous wedding at Southend Barns. Her bouquets and arrangements carried on the gentle pastel colour scheme by Full Bloom. Charlotte’s wedding day gleamed with smiles and warmth, the marquee was picture perfect adorned with flowers arranged by a family friend in West Wittering. It was clear that love was all around as the house bustled with joy for this couple. Charlotte’s wanted makeup and hair that was true to her style, so we kept her bridal look sheer and classic with a touch of shimmer on her lips. Tings wedding morning began with bubbles & cake at ID Makeup, Hair & Beauty Lounge with her closest friends. Her colours were so soft and perfectly suited her natural beauty, we wanted to create a look that gently fell into place to excude grace with her her delicate lace dress from Truly Gorgeous. Her wedding reception was the perfect setting in Upwaltham Barns beautifully captured by Helen Cawte Photography.

Natasha’s morning was filled with creativity, love and friendship. Having travelled over from The States her English country setting began at The Spread Eagle in Midhurst followed by a magical day at Cowdray Walled Gardens. Her main inspiration came from the Dolce & Gabbanas effortless up do’s combines with floral hair adornments. We love Natasha’s use of colour, a modern country bouquet with pops of her favourite shade of neon yellow. And how could we forget those Christian Dior shoes!
